Mental Health Providers | Blue Epiphanies

Natasha Garland, LPC

Hi! I’m Natasha. I received a Master of Science in clinical counseling psychology from Brenau University and am a licensed professional counselor.

Whether you have a lot of therapy experience or this is your first time seeking it, my goal is to provide a space where you feel seen. I’ll meet you where you are.

Many of my clients are creative, intuitive, thoughtful individuals seeking support for things such as self-doubt, trauma, relational wounds, grief, perfectionism, life transitions, anxiety, and questions of identity or purpose.

My practice is collaborative and integrative, rooted in mindful, holistic, and existential-humanistic approaches, with attention to the body’s role in stress, protection, and healing. I am grounded in curiosity about how life experiences and relationships have shaped emotional awareness, boundaries, and sense of self. Together, we can explore ways of cultivating mindful awareness and becoming more attuned to your body, emotions, and inner experience, while holding space for questions of meaning, values, self-trust, and how you want to live.

I bring several years of experience teaching DBT skills groups in residential treatment settings. When helpful, I incorporate this DBT-informed background into individual therapy, offering practical skills for managing emotions, navigating distress, communicating effectively, and responding to life with more flexibility.

Alongside these approaches, I enjoy incorporating expressive, artistic techniques into therapy. I encourage you to bring in any medium that helps you express yourself, whether that means writing, painting, music, digital art, photography, or other creative practices. Outside of the therapy room, I am a writer and poet, and I appreciate the ways creative expression can support growth, meaning-making, and healing.

Therapy with me won’t involve rushing toward answers, but rather creating space for curiosity, reflection, and a deeper understanding of yourself and what matters most to you.

You hold wisdom, and I’ll hold the flashlight.

If this approach resonates with you, I would be honored to support you.

“Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves.… Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.”
